International visits are currently imperiled by budget cuts, environmental devastation, and Covid. Join us to analyze and celebrate American women writers’ transnational networks. These include networks around antislavery, the women’s movement, democracy movements, industrial reform, and writing and the other arts. Scholars will speak about networks encompassing the Atlantic, the Pacific Rim, and the hemisphere.
