2011 Rob Kroes Publication Award
2012 ASN Book Prize

Professor Astrid Franke (University of Tübingen) was the recipient of the 2009 Rob Kroes Publication Award.

Her book manuscript, "Pursue the Illusion: Problems of Public Poetry in America," has been published as volume 2 of the EAAS book series European Views of the United States.

EAAS also wishes to recognize the achievement of the runner-up, Dr. Anna Pochmara (University of Warsaw), whose manuscript is entitled "Engendering the New Negro: A Gender and Sexuality Studies Analysis of Harlem Renaissance Discourse."
