EAAS Grants
EAAS Grants
Professor Astrid Franke (University of Tübingen) is the recipient of the 2009 Rob Kroes Publication Award.

Her book manuscript, "Pursue the Illusion: Problems of Public Poetry in America," has been published as volume 2 of the EAAS book series European Views of the United States.

EAAS also wishes to recognize the achievement of the runner-up, Dr. Anna Pochmara (University of Warsaw), whose manuscript is entitled "Engendering the New Negro: A Gender and Sexuality Studies Analysis of Harlem Renaissance Discourse."
